The Gogebic County Park at McDonald Lake is unique from the other two campgrounds under control of the Forestry and Parks Commission, in that it is a rustic campground.  There is no fee at this campground and the campsites are designed for tenting only.  There is a total of six designated sites, each site has a picnic table.  The three sites on the lake shore have tenting pads and fire rings, the island sites do not.
