Powers Trail System
Exciting things are happening on the Powers Bike Trails for the Summer of 2007. First the Gogebic County Forestry Bought a tractor with attachments for trail maintenance. This allowed for some great trail improvement and development. New trails have been added and many bad spots are now repaired. Trails are in the best shape they have ever been in. A new single track brings the rider to the top of Bald Mountain and down the other side, this connects all the way to the Montreal River Gorge. Due to vandalism new marking is being done by painting squares on tress, look for new marks to follow the trail. Work is continuing on a NEW trail that brings the rider to a isolated spot on the Montreal river. Whether your hiking biking or whatever there are over 30 miles of trails for you to use on Gogebic County land
